The Photos of David Seymour (CHIM)
This historic portfolio presents some of the strongest photos of David Seymour
(Chim) (1911-1956). Chim was a founder of Magnum Photos (with Robert Capa
and Henri Cartier-Bresson) in 1947 and one of the leading photojournalists of the
20th century. The photos were selected by Cornell Capa, who supervised their
production in 1982.
These archival quality portfolio prints are embossed with a distinctive "Chim"
signature that was used only for this portfolio of 12 prints (See photos).
A small number of this classic edition of 100 portfolios are now available for
sale. Early purchasers of the entire portfolio will receive one of the few remaining
cloth boxes with an embossed sketch of Chim by Carlo Levi.
